Morning Routine

Updated: Oct 30, 2018

What I use before I put on all that base.

Since stepping up my prepping, many on Instagram have notice and complimented my makeup. Today I'm sharing my routine: I am oily and acne prone with textured and sensitive skin.

Products can be substituted for your skin type, but these are my steps for an even canvas before caking on foundation.

Morning cleanse with Bioderma Sensible Micellar Water

This micellar water FEELS LIKE WATER aside from the fact that it doesn't irritate my skin. It takes off colorful eye makeup in two to three swipes. This has been my substitute for a morning cleanser.

Moisturize your whole face

I use a water based moisturizer by Belief, followed up by an eye serum. Currently using Caudalie, but I am still on the hunt to find the perfect one.

Final step before the cake face

I use a water based SPF, followed by some KOPARI lip gloss, which has substituted my previous favorite-- Aquaphor.

Finally, I use a hydrating primer like the Too Faced Hangover Primer for the perimeters of my face and Tarte's Clean Slate to fill in my fine lines, pores, and texture caused by acne.

Head over to my IGTV for a full face tutorial.
